The Algolia Zendesk connector is now available in the Data Hub. Instead of using a custom integration, the Zendesk connector is now built on top of the Data hub platform. It’s available for all Algolia customers.

• If you’re already using the Zendesk integration, you have nothing to do. The integration continues to work as usual.
• If you want to set up a new Zendesk integration, you can now create it in the Data-Hub.

If you’re collecting user data with Tealium, you can now forward events to the Insights API with the new Algolia Insights connector.

We’re excited to announce our new experimental React InstantSearch Hooks package. React hooks for InstantSearch is a long-awaited feature that lets you create rich search UIs with friendly and modern React primitives. This new library was developed on top of InstantSearch.js, a solid foundation that lets us implement features faster.

We’re thrilled to release version 1 of our Autocomplete library, which provides everything you need to build full-featured autocomplete experiences. Formerly known as Autocomplete.js, the v0 has been powering the autocomplete experience our Shopify and Magento integrations. The new major version already runs the search of the Algolia docs (you’re reading it!), the Tailwind CSS and Vue.js docs, as well as the frontend of our Netlify plugin.

Following Adobe, that has stopped support for Magento 1 on June 30 2020, we’ve decided to sunset our Magento 1 extension. We’re no longer developing new features for the extension, and only releasing critical security updates when necessary. This also means we’ve removed the documentation for the integration. You can still access an archive of the documentation for our Magento 1 extension.
